Acquiring an EMI
We are looking to acquire an EMI license that allows active business operations such as card issuance, money transfers, and currency exchange. These are the minimum required authorizations for conducting such operations. An additional advantage would be the presence of existing correspondent banking relationships and infrastructure, which would enable the business to start operations with minimal setup costs.
We prefer licenses registered in the EEA (European Economic Area) with the possibility of passporting between member states, allowing operations without restrictions across the EU. A significant benefit would also be the company’s principal or partner membership with Visa or Mastercard, enabling the company to work with leading payment systems.
